This is one of the best exercises to start with because it doesn’t put a lot of strain on the vocal cords, but only gently warms them up. It’s also quiet and can be used in environments where you can’t make much noise.

This exercise helps singers feel the resonance of sound inside their bodies. This is a great opportunity to listen to your feelings and analyze your state. No wonder humming is used in meditation.

The main rule when performing humming is to do it gently and with ease. If you have a problem with a clenched jaw, you can gently move it as if you were chewing gum, which will help relieve tension from the jaw muscles.

Your neck should be relaxed in the same way. Each note should sound like "hmmm". Including the "h" sound at the beginning of your workout reduces the stress on your vocal cords.
